I unintentionally disabled my surge protector by pressing the button with my foot while my gaming PC was running. After turning it back on, everything seemed normal. However, when I moved the surge protector further away to avoid future issues, I repeated the same action. Now that it’s back on, everything appears fine. I’m concerned whether this might affect internal parts like the GPU or other critical components.

Today's devices usually include discharge protection, so you're unlikely to harm anything unless you're updating the BIOS. The main issue arises when Windows saves data during shutdowns, particularly if it alters the operating system. You could encounter problems booting if the system powers off unexpectedly.

Your computer will not physically be effected by power loss , as stated above if windows was writing data at the time theres a chance that data could become corrupted but otherwise should be just fine.

No need for concern, it won't impact your PC's performance at all.
