In short, I reached the lower ranks, then stopped competing for about six months. I got assigned to a MG-MG2 team. My squad was really bad—someone was trolling, another was playing like new—so I managed my team for the first half with 31 kills. The next player had around 12. But after the second half, I couldn’t keep up, and three people started ganging up and trolling. Those who stayed played around, baiting and lurking. I really wanted to pull off a win to climb back up my rank.
I understand your frustration. I haven't played in a month and was demoted to Mg1. Things seem really tough lately.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of mentally handicapped people who play online games. Some of the shit i've seen in silver matches on youtube... There's a lot of LE/LEM players that have been carried at high level, unfortunately. (I'm Supreme Master First Class btw) Above that, there's a lot of underage russians that use wallhack + triggerbot.
Here’s the straight talk:
1. Frags don’t matter unless they’re big wins—unless they were supposed to be decisive, which seems unlikely since 31 couldn’t win you half the game.
2. The matchmaking system is pretty rough. You sound capable, so I’d invest in ESEA if it helps you find better players or get into serious play. If you’re serious about improving or trying Esports Arena, I’m happy to cover a month’s cost just to make it fun for you. It’s around seven dollars.
I should submit that match. I faced a lot of trouble from the opposing team. Before I joined CS:GO for six months, I was really strong with the AWP and always outperformed everyone. Now I’m comfortable with other weapons too. I also tried ESEA before; it wasn’t too bad. People didn’t want me on a team because I was young. MM is tough, skill groups don’t matter much due to all the cheaters and kids who got distracted.
I actually won a match once thanks to a good teammate. We both handled the game well and secured the victory. Sadly, I ended up in Gn4 because of many losses caused by trolls (I’d lost four before this). It seems I might face tougher opponents next time and get more reports.
