I'm using an i5 6600k with a gtx asus ROG 1070. Should I still try overclocking the CPU since the GPU might be the bottleneck? If not, should I opt for the i5 7600 non-K and overclock the GPU instead? Thanks for any advice. (My motherboard is a Z170.)

To get the best outcome, clean up everything around you. Each item offers its own advantages and challenges.
