I don't usually have reference points for my hardware with the latest titles. In Overwatch at ultra settings (not the maximum preset) I see between 240 and 330 frames per second, usually around 280 to 300 fps. In New Warzone I get about 130 to 140 frames, most settings high, but stability is tough due to poor optimization. For Fortnite I get roughly 200 to 300 frames on Dx12 with low settings, though the epic view distance makes it hard to see clearly. These are the games I'm playing now, just checking if my performance looks normal. My PC specs are: Ryzen 9 5900X, RX 6750, X570, Intel i3-8350K, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, ASUS Thor 850 W, 8 GB DDR4, 3600MHz clock (upgrading to 32GB). I use ASUS B550 gaming graphics.
seems fine , if your screen isn't a higher freshrate than those games then it wouldnt really matter anyway so you should be good to go.
bro Deja vu. Even if the screen refresh rate is lower then the FPS provided by the GPU, the higher the fps, the lower the latency overall still. the refresh rate of the screen just tells you how often you get a new frame, not how far in the past that frame is. Anyways, in terms of OP, None of those frame rates seem significantly out of line with what is expected.
Do you believe a jump to 400 fps would make a noticeable change?
Indicates it exceeds satisfactory level, upgrading isn't necessary
I’m only confirming the system is functioning properly, and I don’t intend to upgrade.
