You just placed a 5600x order and it’s having problems after startup. You’re unsure if the issue is with the motherboard or the CPU and are considering returning it for an RMA. You’re also curious whether they actually send it back, since there’s no clear info on that on their website.

They either conduct the testing or issue a fresh one, telling you here, because as long as you gave a thorough explanation of what was occurring, it should suffice.

If the testing succeeds and they confirm functionality, will they return it to you?

It works fine, so the CPU is probably not the issue. Usually it's just a fast check without much detail.

They won<|pad|>,they won't take it from you! You'll receive it again, just the fees for shipping and the time you're waiting without your CPU.

Remember this: Your CPU is usually the least likely place to encounter issues.

Based on my observations, CPUs should remain functional as long as the cooling is adequate and the power source is reliable.

They return it, covering the costs. I handled it with a monitor, and the shipping issues were resolved. No problems detected. Charging $70.

Did you RMA the board? It's far more likely to be a board issue than a problem with your CPU. Unless there's physical damage or extreme stupidity involved, CPUs generally don't just go bad.
