You need to make a bootable USB drive for your new computer. Look for a legal ISO file that matches your system requirements and download it. Follow the instructions to create the bootable image.

I operate with this small program named "Rufus". You connect it to an ISO file, and it will handle writing it to a USB drive and reformatting it automatically. http://rufus.akeo.ie/

I might be relying on Rufus in a clueless way, but it always formats the flash drive to NTFS even when I try. It’s okay unless it doesn’t perform well on older systems. For any Linux distributions, I prefer the Linux Live USB Creator.

I usually connect via ISO to USB, but it comes with extra software if you agree to all the included stuff. It’s clear there’s some hidden content. Microsoft also offers its own version specifically for Windows on a USB drive. Just like Arty mentioned, ISOs are legal—you can share or get them in any way you prefer. They turn into illegal when you use a keygen or a modified copy. Download it and use your own key from your computer or another source. ISO to USB: Here! Microsoft I to U: Here!

I frequently rely on Win32DiskImager to create bootable USB drives. It's quite straightforward to operate!
