I was taking out the battery of my wlmouse beast x pro, and when reconnecting the ribbon cable incorrectly, it tore open. Now the side mouse buttons aren’t functioning. What should I do next? I didn’t locate any replacement parts online.

Secure the area firmly with a reliable tape, such as Capton. Electrical options work too; just ensure there are no missing side buttons.

If the design is simple, consider purchasing and swapping it with a regular cable that matches the pin count and spacing.

You can purchase various electrically conductive adhesives. Look them up on Amazon to explore options, then visit nearby hardware or electronics stores to buy locally if available.

Sure, everything else seems to be functioning properly. I'll give it a shot.

They mentioned trying to take out the ribbon cable from the side mouse buttons but it didn’t come off easily. They’re asking if there’s a particular method for removing it.

There's normally a white plastic latch that holds it in place. You need to flip it up. And yes its quite easy to find that stuff even the same length.

It worked well by adjusting the white component. I’ll search for a matching cable online.
