I think many will find this frustrating, and if it doesn’t bother you, it seems others shouldn’t feel upset either. It’s not about food or water, but as OP said, it’s a way to earn money, which is crucial for getting decent provisions. Picture yourself earning more by delivering goods, but only trucks are available because people buy them and resell them at double the price. Even if you don’t care about the workers, there are still people without access to their products. This exaggerates the supply and demand issue, especially when real work is needed. It’s not a mistake that AMD isn’t producing enough CPUs; it creates a gap where opportunities exist but remain unused, while multiple CPUs sit idle doing nothing.
Thanks to all the responses and thoughts! It’s encouraging to know a 3900—or even 3600—would make a real difference. I’m not sure if the 3950 was included in the budget, but I’ll try to fit it in. The build so far includes: Asrock x570 Taichi, Gskill Neo 64gb (two of the 32gb 16x2 kits), and possibly the Corsair MP600 for a couple of M.2 slots, maybe a Gen 3 Samsung for slot 3… otherwise I’m just looking for good deals on the 2070/80 GPUs. It seems these cards stay relatively cool, so I’ll stick with stock coolers except for the 3950. Anyone else getting any good cooling options this season? @Skiiwee29 @mariushm @graberweg @HarryVoyager @SMBGUY @Jrasero @Otto_iii
