Hey whenever I use my PC, it suddenly freezes and I have to press the power button to shut it down. After rebooting, the same issue pops up with an error labeled Event 10016 Distributed. I need a solution to stop this from happening so my computer stays running smoothly.

Try reseating the RAM or use one stick to run it, checking for better stability in that setup.

This warning is often given by Windows without much relevance to the system's performance. The Event Viewer usually doesn't provide useful data for hard locks because Windows can't record events at that time, resulting in no diagnostic details.

Open command prompt as administrator, execute sfc /scannow, wait for completion and fix any damaged files. If that fails, run a memory test using memtest86—starting with one drive, then switching to the other until all passes. If everything succeeds, it might indicate a Windows problem.
