You need help with your PC.
Hey everyone, I switched my motherboard from the MSI B450-A Pro Max to the ROG Strix B550-F Gaming Wifi II. After connecting everything, it worked fine at first. I added a new M.2 SSD, but after restarting the PC, I encountered error codes: 0xc0000428, 0xc0000221, and 0xc0000225. While troubleshooting, I couldn’t log in with the pin and can’t set up a new one. Here are my specs: Windows 11, Ryzen 7 3700X, GTX 1660 Super, 500GB WD Blue, 1TB SSD, 32GB RAM, AEGIS 3200MHz DDR4. Please help me out! Thanks in advance – Justus
Following a major hardware change such as replacing the motherboard, it's strongly advised to clear your boot disk and begin with a clean Windows setup. Microsoft noticed your drive was no longer present and secured it to prevent unauthorized access and data theft. For valuable information, consider moving it to a secondary drive or an external case. If you started from scratch with a new Windows install, simply erase the old drive and attempt installation offline without linking to a Microsoft account. Regarding the BSODs, if they persist after a fresh install, investigate potential hardware issues by checking connections, reinserting RAM, and other components. Good luck!
