Hey, you're planning to upgrade your gaming setup, aren't you? I get it—sticking to a budget is smart. I'm thinking about getting an Intel Core i5-9400F with a micro ATX board since the current case is too small. I also need a compact cooler and some DDR4 RAM, around 16GB, aiming for at least 2800MHz. That usually means pairing it with a compatible CPU and motherboard. The i5-10600KF looks appealing, but it's not a huge jump from the 9400F, right? Should I be concerned about that? Or should I go with the more affordable option? Looking ahead, will using a cheaper CPU affect my future performance? I’ll keep my 1050Ti for now—GPUs are just too pricey.

Looking ahead, you'll face challenges with intel information regardless of your choices. Recently, they've begun integrating older support into their motherboards. For the 9400F, it's limited to z390/b360 models. The 10600KF is compatible with 10th and 11th generation boards, but new boards are costly and options are scarce. Would you like a list of your budget and upgrade goals?

Válasz a megszereső küldő. A nem szövegyezett Intel-processor, amazonas AMD-re. A nevezetés a Gigabyte H81M-S i5 4460 Asus 1050ti 4GB Strix 8 GB DDR3 500 W cooler Master PSU. Im so lucky that Ryzen 3600 is out of stock, appog az edet. Edited April 7, 2021 by TheTrinket update

I discovered a budget-friendly deal on Amazon UK, and they actually have it in stock—I just need a motherboard that will last for a while.

The choice is confirmed. I opted for an AMD 5 3600 on an Asus TUF B450M-Pro motherboard with 16GB Corsair 3200 MHz RAM. What are your thoughts?

This model is quite unique since I previously owned the B450M PLUS, yet it shares most of the same capabilities and performed exceptionally well!
