I checked Intel's Driver utility and saw the recommended drivers from Armory Crate were a bit old. I wondered if I really needed the Intel DDU or if I could stick with the latest ones Armory suggested. I also thought about skipping everything and letting Windows Update handle it.
You can simply download the necessary drivers from the ASUS support site for your motherboard. If you locate the most recent driver on the Intel website, install that one. You don’t need an update app to manage your drives automatically. Or if you already have drivers installed and everything works fine, just leave them as they are.
