While assembling my PC, I didn’t realize the Commander Pro included USB ports (just a guess). I used an NZXT internal hub and connected it via USB since I lacked a cable. It functioned well for a few months until one day while adjusting it, I noticed smoke and all ports stopped working despite power remaining. The hub was discarded, but it still worked mostly fine. Now my Corsair AIO is showing issues—lights and fans not functioning properly. I’m wondering if the USB ports were damaged during that process.
It wasn't a good smell at all. Things have gotten much worse. The USB I was using stopped working completely, so I switched to another one. My AIO isn't showing the CPU temps, which means the fans aren't turning on. I'm probably going to need a new board.
