Oh no, I was shocked to see that price! I thought Ryzen would be worth more, but it just seemed like the cheapest option at the time. The speeds didn’t seem worth the cost back then.

I really enjoy creating game mods and often play a heavily customized version of a game. Memory usage never exceeds 16 GB, and it's usually under 10 even.

You're thinking about how much cash you really need versus what you can afford. If $120 isn't a game-changer for you, then taking 16GB might not make much of a difference. If it's just extra storage you have lying around, go for it and avoid worrying about memory issues later. I own 32GB but don't use it much—it's just a comfort knowing I'm prepared for now.
