I tried the game for a few days, even today. When I restarted my PC, it still said the game couldn’t be played. I checked the region as Americas and searched on Google, then rebooted, logged out, and logged back in to battle.net. Followed the instructions, started the .exe file, and there was no update prompt. The only message was that it couldn’t connect to battle.net. After fixing, the error became clearer—it seemed to be an issue on their side.

A disgruntled Blizzard worker was tampering with the launcher to prevent people from playing. The situation needed more heroes.
