As described in my title, I recently upgraded my graphics card about a year ago. Now I struggle to handle multitasking, especially when trying to stream YouTube videos without interruptions or slowdowns. Previously, this was effortless across all games—whether it was Far Cry 3, GTA V, Baldur's Gate III, or even simple titles like Coloring Pixels or Minecraft (occasionally). I've experimented with various settings, adjusted video options, and even closed background programs like Borderless and Windows Full Screen. My monitors vary in resolution but are all connected via DisplayPort. I’ve also tried clearing my drives to rule out storage issues, though this doesn’t seem to resolve the problem regardless of which drive the game uses (HDDs, M.2, or SATA SSD). My system specs are as follows:

- Graphics card: EVGA FTW3 2080 Ryzen 9 3900X
- CPU: Corsair Vengeance 32GB 3200MHz DDR4 (PBO)
- Power supply: ROG STRIX X 470 F Coolermaster Hyper212
- Storage: EVGA 850 BQ drives

I’m using Windows 11 Insider Edition and have noticed this issue only recently, after a short period on the 5700XT with the same CPU. I’m not sure what’s causing it, but I’m open to suggestions and would appreciate any tips or alternatives.

Turn off the Multiplane Overlay MPO, as it appears to be a Windows problem.

That refers to a specific location or activity you're curious about. Could you provide more details? I'd be happy to help you find out what it is and where to go!

They have a support guide on Nvidia's site that explains how to download the necessary registry files. It comes directly from Nvidia's team.

I attempted it again recently and it worked, though a restart seems likely required

Enable BIOS settings without PBO and DOCP options, reverting to standard defaults or clearing the CMOS. Ensure your chipset drivers are current at the provided link.

I did that and checked it out too; I noticed GSync sometimes triggers the problem, so I disabled it as well.
