I own a 3600mhz system with 8gb x2 RAM, an ASRock A320-HDV/M and a Ryzen 2600X. Only 8gb of RAM is currently active; removing it leaves me with 2 sticks totaling 16gb available. I checked the BIOS settings but got the same result.

Welcome to the discussions! Are you sure the RAM module on the motherboard isn't faulty, or is there another stick that works? If so, both functioning suggests a bad slot. Is your BIOS equipped with a hardware monitor to check which slots are connected? Does it display both slots as occupied?
