I’m not familiar with these cables, but I’ll set up the new PC with the new monitor soon. I need to confirm if I really need them and what their purpose is. Also, I already have an HDMI cable—here’s how to use it.

Hmm, you mentioned a single cable split into two parts. It seems to be the monitor power cable. Just connect the joined end to the monitor and the separate end to the outlet. Do you have any questions about this setup?
