It's not a major issue, a 7900X remains a solid CPU. If you're aiming for competitive FPS and need 500fps, you should've considered a 7800X3D. However, for modern AAA titles with maximum settings, the GPU will usually be the bottleneck most of the time. You've made a minor error, but you're now on the AM5 platform, which means future upgrades are possible.
The 7800X3D features a 3D V-Cache positioned above a single 8-core chiplet. In contrast to the 7900X and 7900X3D, it uses two separate CPU chiplets which introduces some communication delay between them. This mirrors the scenario seen with the 5900X versus 5800X or 5800X3D.
