You can't use port forwarding with Docker because it's already handling that for you.
I know I'm not good enough at this to set it up myself. We have an Amplify HD router. My goal is to let family access Plex from anywhere, but I can't even get the right port open. On Windows 11 Pro with ESET and Private Internet Access, I tried forwarding port 35600 in the router settings and nothing worked. Even though I enabled it through ESET, yougetsignal, and portchecker all say the port is closed. I use PIA often but turned it off just to try this. Basically, I need my VPN running so Plex can reach me from the outside world. I set up a split tunnel with PIA so Plex bypasses the VPN. The only thing left is opening the right IP address when forwarding in the router. I tried using the public IP on the router, the WAN IP, the private IP from my network settings, and none of those worked. Any help?
