I've noticed it often, since I keep checking my frame rate. Sometimes I can't even reach 60fps in Hearts Stone with my GTX970 at 1603Mhz. It might just be that the settings aren't optimized well enough. Thanks for any advice!

It improves the experience quite a bit, honestly. @OP also has a 970 and it's only operating around 1300MHz, giving you steady 66 FPS.

That high APM player really improves the experience, though it seems like his 970 or the software might be the issue. I could play hearthstone at 4K60FPS on a 660ti processor. It’s not the most challenging game ever.
