Hello, I recently reinstalled Windows and everything seemed to work fine at first. However, after a few days, I realized I couldn't type in the search bar anymore. I checked the internet thoroughly and tried various solutions, but nothing resolved the issue. To help, I'm planning to visit the Linux forum, as it often provides clear answers to tech problems.

Pressing the Windows key while typing can trigger the correct action, leading to the desired outcome. The white bar is likely a visual indicator for the system to process your input. This feature helps ensure the results match what you expect.

It occurred to me recently, and I believe resolved it by launching the Windows Explorer service through Task Manager.

Consider trying to restart Cortana for better performance.

It seems like your Cortana isn't activated, but you're noticing something unusual. Could you share more details about what you're trying to do?

I press Windows+R, enter the path, and it functions initially but stops after a restart.
