I just launched GeForce and found Minecraft installed in a folder I can’t reach. It doesn’t appear in Windows 10 Store, and Program Control won’t let me uninstall it. When I press Play in the GeForce Experience, it works fine. I’ve never played Minecraft before, and I definitely won’t be playing it now—what’s going on? Anyone else have strange installs happening?

Sure, I understand. It seems like you're suggesting that typing "minecraft" would display a tile, which isn't the case.

It varies by Win10 version; some versions show download or delete options when you right-click the app in the Start menu.

It offered the chance to remove the problem solved feature, but I still prefer not to do that since I received an unexpected installation on my system.

To prevent Windows from displaying ads in your Start Menu, look for the "Show me suggestions" setting under Settings -> Start Menu.

The game isn't available, it's an ad.
