I've attempted driver sweeper but it lacks support for Intel LAN. I have the 82579v LAN driver and need to fully remove it from my system. Whenever I try to uninstall it in the control panel, it reinstalls automatically.

Open System and Device Manager. Pick the LAN device and right-click to either delete it or go to Properties → Driver Remove. Both actions will take the driver off. To fully turn off the built-in LAN, enter BIOS and disable the device there. Otherwise it should reinstall itself when you restart. If you plan to upgrade the driver from the manufacturer’s site, you can do that without removing the current ones.
