This choice favors the RTX 2060 over the 1660 and 5700 series models from Radeon. In DLSS games it consistently outperforms them.

Not really the main point of this discussion, but I don't see it that way. At launch the 2060 felt too expensive compared to newer and older cards that would achieve similar or better results in rasterization. It struggled to handle ray tracing adequately for a smooth experience. DLSS wasn’t a strong feature back then, and even now it’s only available in a few titles—let alone what FSR could offer. I’m sharing this from personal experience because in mid-2019 I mistakenly swapped my 1080 for a 2060.

Back then I had a 5700 XT and was happy to see the back of that old Nvidia model rolling in. It was a whole year of nothing but black screens, even after we updated the drivers and AMD said they’d fixed it. Since then there’s never been an issue.

I owned a 5700 for a whole year without any issues, and I haven’t experienced one complaint about the 6800 yet. Stories!
