I'm considering pre-ordering GTA V now because of its large download size. While I usually don’t pre-order, the game seems really appealing. I’m unsure which platform to buy from—Steam or Rockstar’s warehouse? It might be slightly cheaper through Rockstar, but I’m not sure if they provide Steam codes. Having it on Steam would make updates easier and avoid a confusing launcher. Anyone have experience buying it via Rockstar? Do they offer Steam codes? Thanks!

Because pre-orders won’t get a bonus this time, you can grab it on Steam during the summer sale. They might also add GTA.

I’d probably choose Steam since most of what I own is already on that platform, though I’m not entirely sure. The Rockstar warehouse could get even busier than before...

G2A offers it for 59 dollars, which isn't clear compared to typical US costs.

G2A available, but if you're not ready, grab it from Steam instead. Just noticed the price on G2A, but you don’t need to wait—download from Steam now.

Are you sure it won’t take a while to download? Have you checked your location settings? It should require at least four days. Since G2A isn’t providing a Steam key, would you like me to pre-load it for you?

I received a small sum of money. I purchased it, but none of my Steam friends did, so... I might play by myself now.

From what I know, it hasn't been released yet, and I'm not sure of the price in your area, but it's only a bit cheaper on G2A compared to Steam. So I'd probably go with Steam.
