As long as your existing installation is active, during a fresh setup on the new SSD, omit the product key input and proceed with the installation. It will work fine since the product key is linked to the motherboard.

Before switching to the SSD, power up the device, let it initialize, link it to the internet, and ensure Windows is running. If it doesn’t work, and you’re unsure, changing to the SSD might have unintentionally canceled your warranty by opening it or starting a blame situation.

Note that after registration, your key relies on the machine’s hardware ID and will activate automatically once connected to the internet post-install.
