Hi! You can try using a USB drive or an external hard drive to install the game. If you need help setting that up, just let me know.

You might have been asked to set up GTA V using Steam or use a code provided with the title. Obtain the installer file, enter your login details from the account you used, and link the game to that account. Once connected, you can pick the game (and any others installed via the client) and download it online through the installer. Installation via the internet may take more time than from a physical disc, though it should function properly afterward. If possible, you can also move files to another computer using USB, but you’ll still need to complete the setup process on that device.

Just transfer your drive to another PC and install GTA V there. You can also bring the disc to an internet café, use a USB stick, install it, and then copy it to your PC.

Unfortunately, I sold that PC. I have a stable internet connection now—where should I look for the installation file?

This means I’ll need to deal with the trouble of disconnecting, and where would I even look for a computer with an optical drive? Plus, installing GTA5 on an HDD is a long, tedious process that just keeps going.
