To disable the installation, you can remove the Candy Crush app from your system or whitelist it properly. If it keeps showing up, check your app permissions and uninstall any conflicting software. Let me know if you need further help!

Settings > Personalization > Start > 5th choice: "Show suggestions occasionally in Start" EDIT: Hmm, seems like you meant something else.

They don’t show any options, I’ve disabled them. The apps are just added without choice.

When I first installed the new device, they handled the Windows updates smoothly. If you haven’t done so yet, double-check that the system is completely current; once that’s done, remove the updates and they should remain disabled.

I noticed that right after I added them. It seems odd since they aren’t in your app list, yet they still install. Personally, I haven’t experienced this before. There don’t appear to be any settings in the Microsoft Store that would trigger Windows 10 to do this automatically.

The store is turned off for me, which isn’t ideal. I’ve got the newest version installed, but I’m keeping Windows updates disabled because they disrupt my gaming sessions a lot.

During installation, Windows automatically updates applications. I often wonder if the app gets reinstalled while updating, which then restarts. Just wait for it to complete, then remove the app afterward.

I also have my own scripts that perform the same tasks.
