I increased my CPU speed from 8600k to 4.8ghz at 1.4v (delidded) with AVX, no need to worry your CPU is bad. My GPU went from Gigabyte 1080 to 2ghz, and the RAM upgraded to GSKILL 3600 with a 17GB case. I also tried overclocking my monitor, but it doesn’t support higher refresh rates.

It's feasible to adjust the USB ports for a faster signal. You can also modify certain SSD drives, though I'd avoid that unless you're certain about the outcome, since it could damage your data.

Cache performance on most chips reaches about 5GHz, but hitting 5.2GHz can cause issues or even damage the CPU. Around 4.8GHz works well when the extra v-core isn't significant or isn't required.

Or high temperatures... RAM or CPU. Ideally, the more you boost performance, the cooler you should keep things running for stability. This covers not just the RAM but also the memory controller and CPU temps.

Test with 300MHz below the CPU's base frequency. Performance ranges from 4.5 to 4.6GHz on the same core. Likely defaults to around 4.3GHz (possibly even lower).
