I need to understand what’s happening. My guess is based on limited information. My drivers were last updated yesterday or today, and the problem started then. The issue affects only the left side of my screen. I’m unsure if it’s the monitor, graphics card, drivers, or operating system causing this. I don’t think it’s Windows 10 since I keep working on it, but I’m not sure. The HP OMEN 144Hz 1080P monitor seems to be the focus. I’ve tried reinstalling drivers, using different installers, and even recalibrating text settings. Sometimes dragging windows causes issues on one side. It’s confusing and unsettling.

Could the issue stem from your multi-monitor configuration? It doesn’t seem like the monitor itself is damaged, but the problem might be with the graphics driver.

Thread finalized. Windows 10 caused a malfunction during an update. Critical process failed. Very serious.

I found out my screen was failing. Then my laptop crashed the following day. Surprisingly good so far.

Computers often fail due to specific parts, which can usually be repaired. This situation might become very challenging. If I were you, I’d create a troubleshooting guide to clarify what’s happening clearly and concisely.

I tried to fix it myself. The monitor is failing on its own. I have three drives. Clicking my profile shows it can't be repaired, so I replaced a spare SSD and am working through the hassle of transferring files. Poor Microsoft and their updates seem to cause problems.
