I have a tx650m PSU with only an 8-pin CPU power connector. I’m looking into AI Overclocking but am unsure if it works with just the 8-pin setup. The manual says I can only use 8-pin connectors, and it doesn’t mention overclocking. I’m considering using AI tools to adjust settings without changing values myself. Questions: 1) Is AI Overclocking possible with an 8-pin connection? 2) Can I install a Corsair EPS cable with type4 on this PSU? 3) Should I upgrade to a new PSU like the Rm750 for better performance?

You don't need the additional 4-pin connector when using ambient cooling methods like air or water cooling.

Only an 8-pin EPS is required, and a single 8-pin can readily supply 384W of power—more than sufficient for a 10700K. The additional 4-pin is typically reserved for intense overclocking tasks such as LN2 overclocking.
