As discussed earlier, I intend to set up Windows 10 on a USB HDD for DAZ3D. Since I only have Linux installed, my focus is on enhancing security beyond the default settings. Specifically, I need to determine which antivirus and firewall solutions I should add if they aren’t already included. I haven’t used Windows since around 2014/2015, which was version 8... One recurring issue I’ve faced is needing to download software from various sources instead of having a single application handle everything like Linux does.

Windows offers both options. Behind a router with a firewall, the built-in one is usually not essential.
