Hello! Your sister's motherboard supports a 2500k RAM and runs Windows 10, but it doesn’t have support for the 2nd generation Intel CPUs like the i5 3770. That means it won’t work with that processor.

The P67A-C43 is compatible with third-generation CPUs such as the Core i7-3770. Full compatibility is ensured by updating the BIOS, which is only offered for the B3 version of the board (though B2 models should also function). Windows 10 works with second-generation Intel processors. I've tested this configuration using it. (P67A-C43, Core i5-2500K)

Yes, Sandy Bridge chipsets work with Ivy Bridge CPUs after a BIOS update. The claim that Windows 10 doesn’t support 2Gen is incorrect—there are no such restrictions. I also successfully installed Windows 10 on a Pentium M processor dating back to 2004.

Windows 10 needs NX/XD capability, PAE, and SSE2 support. Usually, older CPUs like some Pentium M and Pentium 4 models have these features.

I once set up Windows 10, but after installation it showed an issue saying the CPU isn't supported even though it was running. To fix this, I switched to Windows 8. Now we're trying to get back to Windows 10. Do you have any problems with that version?

I use the latest Windows 10 update on an LGA1366/ first generation Core board and haven’t encountered these problems. When I used Windows 10 on my 2500K, there were no issues either. If you attempt it again, ensure you perform a fully new installation.

Sure, by not imposing any restrictions, I didn’t imply any constraints. Of course, the OP has a sandy bridge that meets all the requirements for Windows 10. It even includes AVX, which is impressive.
