Looking for a used ThinkCentre or EliteDesk mini PC to upgrade into a basic server setup for Minecraft and similar projects. I have an old 2400G and 3600 with extra memory, but I’m having trouble finding CPU compatibility info online. I think the boards use B300 or B350 chipsets, but details are hard to come by.

GE offers reduced-power Ryzen APUs. The 2400G model runs at 65W TDP, while the 2400GE uses 35W. The cooling system, motherboard VRM, and power supply aren’t built for the higher TDP. Your 3600 lacks an integrated GPU, and these mini versions don’t include a dedicated GPU—running this CPU won’t provide display output.
