It’s probably the first time I’ve seen such an item—many other broken things I’ve bought have been listed as working before I discovered they were defective.

I looked into it. My GTX 760 is sending video signals, but the RX 6800 XT isn’t. I reviewed the BIOS and saw it’s not listed among PCI devices. The fans are running. No visible harm.
