Lately I faced an issue with my fan hub RBG cable. It had a 3-pin, 5V connector, but the motherboard wouldn’t accept it because the header was set to 4 pins and 12V ARGB. If you’re feeling a bit creative, could cutting the pin change things? Just remember, I’m still learning—don’t worry if I sound a little confused!

No, using 12 volts into a 5-volt part will damage it. The connections behave differently depending on whether the header is RGB or ARGB.
