Your ISP router is experiencing poor coverage, causing certain areas like one wall to drop the video quality. Since the antennas are adjustable, you could install a stronger antenna to improve signal strength and restore better playback.

It's only a temporary fix, but what you truly require is a complete removal

These ISP routers face problems beyond poor antenna performance. Trying to improve their functionality isn't a worthwhile investment.

You'll just receive an improved second router or access point.

LOL! That was quite critical. Check out this video. It doesn’t seem to have much impact. Plus, if it’s priced like a basic access point, maybe you should consider spending on something better. What ISP device are you currently using? How big is your home? Would you mind sharing a floor plan? Run a wireless scan with WiFi Analyzer near your access point. Share the screenshots of the 'Analyze' and 'Networks' sections. Please mask any WAN IPs or MAC addresses you don’t want exposed, but keep your SSID visible.

Remove the current setup and use a better router. Even if you're stuck with the modem-router combo, install another one afterward and turn off Wi-Fi in the ISP version. All the routers I've used from ISPs, including in Denmark, have performed poorly.

I’d try that option, though it’s a 3-in-1 device—it functions as both a modem, router, and digital cable. Since I’m still on a cable internet plan, I can’t simply swap out the router or modem.

You contact the ISP, mention you wish to switch providers, and note you’re using your own router—potentially avoiding their fees for wireless services.

I meant to be more direct, but I’m trying to give you more details. It seems the Huawei HG8247H is involved, and the space measurement is around 200 square meters. The exact specs aren’t clear, but that’s what I recall.
