Basic queries I’m unsure about since I don’t have an Xbox Pass account. I’ve used MSFS2020 on the game pass for two years. The issue is, can I purchase the Standard MSFS2020 version now that it’s included in the Xbox Pass? If I remove the Xbox Pass and buy the game separately, will I own it fully without having to re-download everything? Essentially, what should I do to simply own the game without uninstalling and reinstalling?

If you purchase the identical version I believe is typical, it works just fine. I haven’t tested it, but reasoning suggests you won’t need to reinstall.
