I have a laptop, and when I connect my earphones to the jack, the speakers mute normally, which is fine. However, sometimes I want to multitask for better efficiency, especially while taking lectures. I know I can use one side at a time, but the close sound makes it hard to catch everything. Can I set up Windows 7 to play both speakers simultaneously?

You can proceed by accessing your Realtec audio driver configuration. Ensure your Realtec audio chip is enabled and both jacks are set to operate together.
