They only changed the textures for Bethesda's free DLC in Skyrim. For the Skyrim Nexus, you'll find much better high-resolution graphics mods available.

Absolutely, any setup can achieve smooth gameplay in Skyrim at 60 frames per second, including my own. NOTE: Higher resolution DLC could give it an edge slightly.

I prefer the vanilla version more, and the Hi Res DLC matches that extra detail perfectly—giving it a boost of +1 to Bethesda.
