It should probably render in 1080p. You may need to skip some higher-end options like soft shadows because of the mobile CPU. The 7700HQ isn't weak, but it could noticeably lower frame rate if you increase shadow intensity. Without certain effects and post-processing, the mobile 1050ti should definitely manage very high performance.

Your GTX 970 typically achieves about 75 frames per second in GTA V with high to ultra configurations. A 1050 Ti GPU should perform well under those conditions.
