An Xbone struggled with the port, but it might have improved slightly after my last session (around three months ago).

Many things can shift in just three months. I suggest a GTX 1060 6GB or RX480 4GB/8GB if you're on a tighter budget. For those with more funds, the ASUS STRIX RX470 is available for $130 after a rebate on Newegg.

It performed much better than before, though some occasional stutters remain. They tend to happen more when playing at 60 frames per second.

Noticing ongoing performance problems even after overclocking your 1080 and 5820K, it seems similar challenges will likely continue. The game maintains a stable 60 frames per second, but you often encounter odd frame drops, particularly in Surfer's Paradise, where it falls into the mid-50s to low 40s range. This is quite unsettling since FH3 should run smoothly even at lower settings.
