It will be poor with noticeable lag spikes and low frame rates, but reducing the settings sufficiently can bring you to about 30 to 50 frames per second.

Absolutely yes, I ran the beta on a gtx 550ti on windows 7 at 1080p with framerates around 60 (although I didn't max it out by any stretch).
