It seems running Max settings at 1440p on the 3060 might not be feasible, especially if you want smooth performance. The game appears to require significant optimization.

It's more efficient than thinking AC games are built specifically for Radeon cards. This is why Radeon performs better than GeForce in titles like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. Hardware Unboxed's tests show 1440p Ultra High at around 50 fps on average, with a slight dip to 39 fps in 1% of cases—something I find reasonable.
