I have 16GB of RAM in total. I'm using two brands: a Klevv and a Kingston HyperX Fury. When I first assembled my PC, it came with the Klevv, and two years later I upgraded to a new RAM module—the HyperX Fury. After installation, both ran at 2133MHz dual-channel, but the HyperX could handle 2400MHz, while the Klevv was limited to 2133MHz. I attempted to fix this by turning on XMP in BIOS, but it only recognized my Klevv stick and ignored the HyperX, leaving it with just one 8GB RAM module at full speed. Now I'm running everything at 2133MHz. My question is: can I overclock my Klevv stick to 2400MHz while using the other stick?

Consider removing the klevv stick from the PC, enabling XMP on the HyperX One, and then inserting it back in to test XMP with both sticks. Avoid mixing sticks between them to prevent issues. If that fails, keep the frequency at 2133MHz or upgrade to a 2x8GB kit. @DeadlyDivs

I think I’ll settle for a 2133mhz thx for the response. The main reason I got the HyperX Stick was because I couldn’t find any similar sticks online or in stores.

You might also find a different 8gbs HyperX Fury stick that fits.
