My Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8 laptop keyboard keys stopped working, beginning with D then W. I’ve checked it’s hardware-related, so I’m considering buying a replacement keyboard on eBay without a palmrest, or opting for an RGB model (my laptop already has a white backlight). Can I get an RGB one and set it up? Or should I avoid aftermarket copies? Thanks in advance.

It seems this item indicates compatibility with both versions of your SKU. To be cautious, I’m guessing you’ve taken apart the laptop to check if the keyboard is installed, and after removing the cover, you should share a picture of the PCB. Upload it to Imgur and send the link so we can review it together.

On the far left I can identify the location for the RGB cable, though I'm uncertain about its functionality in the software side and how it would operate.
