Check this image carefully. Both units are DDR4 2400 MHz but they have different heat sinks and minor serial number variations—older model is HX424C15B2/8 while the newer is HX424C15B3/8. I already own the older one, but I need another for dual-channel use. The price for the older version is high, so I’m considering the newer one. Does the updated model with slight heat sink changes still support dual-channel operation? Thanks for your help!

Remember that RAM speed depends on chip power and stability; buying them separately may result in inconsistency (such as Samsung B-DIMM or S-DIMM). Even the XMP profiles can cause issues, requiring manual timing adjustments.

HyperX Fury released a newer version (HX424C15B3/8) with upgraded heat sinks, same speed (2400MHz) and latency (CL15). Should I purchase the newer one to save money?
