But I attempted this during Windows 10 installation and the PC reported: Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software update could be responsible. 0xc000000e I'm making a new bootable USB drive. Please let me know if it works. Thanks for your assistance @Faisal A!

Open BIOS settings, select boot options, and adjust priority to prioritize the USB drive. This method should function unless you have GPT enabled or are using a 32-bit setup for a 64-bit system or vice versa.
