Hey there, I heard you're looking to get Just Cause 3 at a discount. You mentioned some local stores have a DVD version for half the price online. Since your laptop doesn’t have a DVD reader, you’d need to transfer the disc to your dad’s laptop that does have one. Then you can extract the ISO file and install it on your own machine. I’m not sure if that process will go smoothly, but I hope it works. Let me know if you need more help!

Switched to PC gaming and it seems to function properly, unless you require a DVD to run the game.

NP... I just updated my answer. It could fail if the DVD isn't available for playback.

You can download it from the ISO file, though I'm pretty sure you'll still require a physical disc to run the game.

It's disappointing... I've had to cancel my purchase and am checking online for any available Steam codes.

You might look at G2A or hold off until the Steam discounts arrive, which usually come a few weeks before Christmas.

In the end I accepted the offer and placed the order. It came with a special code, and now I have five cup holders. Considering the 50% discount, it definitely seemed like a solid deal.
